Exclusive: Priyadarshi Promises Nonstop Entertainment in ‘Om Bheem Bush’

As the eagerly awaited family entertainer “Om Bheem Bush,” starring Sree Vishnu, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Priyadarshi, gears up for its theatrical release on March 22nd, the film’s cast is engaging with the media to share insights. Here’s a glimpse of Priyadarshi’s interaction:

How did you come on board for ‘Om Bheem Bush’?

My association with director Harsha dates back to our collaboration on “Husharu.” Though we intended to work together earlier, it didn’t materialize until now. The intriguing storyline of “Om Bheem Bush” coupled with the presence of Sree Vishnu and Rahul piqued my interest. Moreover, the backing of UV Creations added to the allure. The film promises a unique blend of horror and fantasy elements, making it an exciting venture to be a part of.

Could you shed light on your character in the film?

I portray the role of Dr. Vinay Gummadi. Alongside my friends, we enroll in Osmania University ostensibly to pursue a Ph.D., but our true intentions are to enjoy the perks of the stipend and hostel facilities. While my character believes in the power of science, hilarity ensues as our differing beliefs clash. “Om Bheem Bush” is brimming with nonstop entertainment, interspersed with poignant moments. It’s distinct from my previous work in “Brochevarevarura” and promises a fresh cinematic experience.

You played a pivotal role in ‘Mangalavaaram.’ Do you aspire to take on protagonist roles?

I find greater fulfillment in portraying diverse characters rather than shouldering the burden of being a typical hero. Embracing varied roles allows me to showcase my versatility as an actor and explore different facets of storytelling. “Mangalavaaram” was a pivotal experience that underscored the impact of compelling narratives. As an actor, I’m grateful for the opportunities to collaborate with talented writers and directors who craft engaging roles for me.

What’s the significance of the title ‘Om Bheem Bush’?

The title wasn’t predetermined during the script’s development. As a trio, we sought a trendy and catchy title that reflects our camaraderie and the film’s essence. Hence, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ was born. Its uniqueness adds to the film’s appeal, serving as a key asset in drawing audiences.

How do you perceive your evolution as an actor over the years?

My journey since “Pelli Choopulu” has been transformative, with each project leaving its imprint. “Mangalavaaram” particularly resonated deeply, amplifying my visibility and recognition among audiences. With fame comes a heightened sense of responsibility, and I strive to leverage my platform for meaningful storytelling and social impact.

Can you share any insights into your upcoming projects?

I’m currently essaying a lead role in a film in the production phase. Additionally, I’m thrilled to be part of “Game Changer,” further diversifying my repertoire.
